When poet Claude Peloquin and musician and genius inventor Jean Sauvageau joined forces for the album Laissez nous vous embrasser là ou vous avez mal, which includes “Monsieur l’Indien”, they had already worked together within the prolific world of Québécois counterculture during the 1960s.
